Manna & Hive is all about seeing believers live freely and confidently in their God-given identity. A warming, timeless, playful and organic brand style that aligns to the brand identity of, empowering and equipping people to live out their lives boldly, brave and courageous.
Mel came to me wanting to refresh her branding, as she was done with her ‘clunky canva logo’. She finally took the steps and decided it was a necessary investment in her business. Mel wanted to upgrade to something more professional, user friendly and wanted to be able to create a cohesive look with the content she created.

The Before

Mel thoroughly filled out her Brand Identity Questionnaire, which gave me a great insight into her thoughts and everything about her business. I then researched, deeply explored and developed 2 concepts. Concept 2 being the winner, full of symbolism. Mel had minimal detailed changes to enhance and align her brand further.

The Result
Branding
The final result combines playful, calming colors with clean, organic typography that feels flowy—like a bee gracefully flying through the air—paired with the wisdom of serif typography. The wave and connection in the lettering symbolise the journey a person embarks on to discover their God-given identity. There’s also a ripple effect, representing how Mel impacts people’s lives every day.
A subtle diamond spark is included, symbolising the hidden wisdom that emerges from working with Mel. This brand identity was designed with a minimalistic approach, recognizing that our minds are often ‘busy and clouded.’ Soft, feminine supporting graphics further enhance the dreamy quality of the design, bringing a sense of calm and clarity.
